Abstract:
In this paper we introduce the MANAS (Mobile Agent Network Access Service) architecture that we have developed and prototyped. MANAS provides network access services with minimum user intervention while considering the mobile devices limitations such as limited computation power, memory, bandwidth and battery. MANAS users will be able to access the Internet from anywhere without pre-configuring the client device. MANAS users will also have the option of utilizing other services on the network such as printing devices or other non-traditional services.
