Overview
We advance the
science of computer networks especially as they pertain to
the future wireless networks and their need to transport a
maze of multimedia, voice and data applications across the
globe. Our solutions are validated by a combination of analytical,
simulation and prototyping tools. We add value mainly in the
data, network and transport layers while understanding, modifying
and integrating third party solutions in other layers.
The Multimedia
Networks Lab develops software solutions for efficient,
high-data-rate, adaptive systems. Currently, we direct our
research towards real-world applications in the domain of
medical systems.
The research
in the laboratory is supported by a combination of federal
and industrial grants.
